Equipment carrier for electroslag welding

The equipment carrier for electroslag welding is an installation that can be moved on rails featuring a height-adjustable control station on the boom. The installation is operated by a single operator and is exclusively designed for vertical welding of cylindrical and flat steel components with up to three welding heads. As a result of the vertical welding technique, the weld pool is protected against side leakage (interior/exterior) by means of a cooling device.

The control station is firmly mounted on the boom and is equipped with a two-stage electromotive telescopic lifting device. The telescopic lifting device enables the control station to be moved independently of the position of the boom (up/down).

This equipment carrier for electroslag welding is designed for min./max. wall thicknesses of 50–300 mm. The max. welding height is 4,000 mm.
